Name: Lily Rose Evans
Nicknames: umm Lils?
Age: 15
Blood: Muggle Born
Birthday October 26th, 1960
House: Gryffindor
Any ability or special blood type you have aka vampire, veela, werewolf, etc. none that I know of.
Personality (At least 1 paragraph):
Lily has developed several different sides to her personality, each of which is brought out by the different company that she is in. It’s true that Lily is very intelligent. She has been highly remarked by many of her professors, despite the fact that she was born of muggle blood. Horace Slughorn, her potions professor, even went as far as to describe her as “the brightest witch of her age,” however Lily is far to modest to ever admit this openly. She doesn’t let compliments go to head as easily as some people she knows.
Speaking of Potter, Lily really isn’t the sarcastic, uptight and not to mention intimidating girl that she often appears to be around him and his fellow mate Black. Lily is like every other teenage girl. She has insecurities and strives to be accepted by her peers. Potter and Black however always manage to bring out the worst in her. Really, Lily is kind with a heart of compassion. Her urges to act out freely are only suppressed by the good reputation and the fact that she couldn’t stand to be taken advantage of.
Personal History (2 paragraphs):
Lily was born out of a Muggle family. She was raised in an everyday muggle home, with nothing magical about it. It must have been her acceptance letter to Hogwarts that drove her and her sister Petunia apart. Her parents had been very supportive of Lily’s new found ability, maybe even to the point where they became slightly neglectful of Petunia.
The summer before her first year at Hogwarts had been a busy one. Before her acceptance, she and her sister had been rather close, but now that Petunia refused to even catch eye contact with her, Lily was forced to find comfort outside of her home with the few muggle friends that she had gained over the years. It was hard saying goodbye to everyone, especially saying goodbye to the close relationship that she had with her sister. Things were about to change forever however, in the best way possible.
Lily’s first year at Hogwarts was full of new discoveries. She could hardly believe the magical possibilities that the wizarding world had to offer. It was also within this year that she met her true rival, James Potter. She must have hated him from the very beginning, or at least that’s all she could remember. He was conceited and selfish, hexing those around him just for sear amusement. Lily even took pity on Severus Snape, who had insulted her on many occasions, just in spite of Potter.
However, as life at Hogwarts went on, even Lily couldn’t deny the fact that James Potter was becoming infinitely more handsome as he reached the last stages of male puberty. His constant hounding of her didn’t make her change her opinion about the boy now.
She however has taken a liking to his good mate Sirius Black. Though their bickering if not equal to that of hers and Potters, is greater, she finds something interesting and irresistible about his bad boy exterior.
Appearance (1 paragraph and/or picture):
To say that Lily us just plain old pretty, would be an understatement. She very well might be one of the more attractive girls in her years, with long fiery red hair and brilliant green, almond-shaped eyes. She has a few curves on her, but nothing to point where other boys don’t still look at her. Probably the more likely reason that boys don’t often approach her to ask her out is the hard outer wall she sets in front of herself. It’s not often that she opens up to someone that she isn’t close with.
Hobbies:
Lily’s studies and prefect duties are very important to her. She likes to set a good example for younger generations.
Likes:
To put it simply, Lily likes books. She finds there to be nothing more trustworthy than the text in thick hardcover book that she has come across in the library. She can’t get enough of her studies. Having grown up in a muggle family, everything she sees is a new discovery that she strives to accomplish herself.
Dislikes:
Lily, more than anything, loathes James Potter. Though nowadays, due to certain circumstances, Lily isn’t able to blame her hate for the boy on his reckless antics and bullying. Much of the only reason she keeps up their bickering is that its become a 2nd nature to her.
Role play Sample(2 good formed paragraphs please!):
Lily didn’t really understand why he kept asking her. Rejection usually wasn’t a reason to continue, but that’s all James Potter was going to get out of her. A flat out “NO!” She wasn’t going to be nice about it either. Lily had given up long ago on trying talking sense into Potter. There was no point in dealing with that boy. He had one thing on his mind, and one thing only; himself.
Yet here he stood before her, asking the very question that pulled at Lily’s last nerves, for the third time that week no less.
”So what do you say Evans? One date wouldn’t hurt you.”
Lily was convinced that one date very well might kill her. She couldn’t see one positive aspect that would come out of the encounter. She could see the hate mail now from all of Potter’s little fan girls; ”Your not good enough for him!” Lily thought differently, in fact she saw it as the other way around. But who was she to influence the opinions of them. They already hated her for being the Potters ‘token’ girl. She wasn’t saying that she liked the nickname she had earned among her peers, especially considering that Potter’s came attached to it, however she couldn’t deny the smirk that would spread across her face each time she past a pack of his groupies and saw them each scowl at her.
This however, was not funny. Lily tried not to show it, but Potter was always able to push the right buttons when it came to getting her angry. She hated being so vulnerable around him. “In your dreams Potter!” she retorted. “I’d rather go out with Lucius than with you!” It was true though, that in return Lily could press the same buttons. It was well known that James and Lucius were enemies, and it was a good thing that Lucius wasn’t present in their spat, or Lily would have to face another cruel soul.
A dumb look spread across James’ face. He was speechless, and Lily knew that her words had gotten to him. She quickly turned on her heels and walked down the corridor away from Potter and the crowd. As she turned the corner to the great staircase, she looked back on last time and sent him playful smirk that was sure to haunt his dreams tonight.
What could she say? Lily knew how to play with his heart. Now only if she could master the gift on a more deserving boy. Say… Sirius Black? No! Lily told herself, he’s even worse than Potter! No matter how hard she tried, recently Lily couldn’t stop thinking about the long black haired boy with the muscle to boot. He surely wasn’t as boythingyy as Potter, you had to work for an ego that big, but cruelty was masked only charismatic personality. He was even worse than James when it came down to that. The things he had done to first years, and not to mention some of his old girlfriends made Lily just want too…. “Ough!”
Lily fell back on the 3rd floor landing of the Grand Staircase. Standing before her, with a rather handsome grin on his face, was none other than Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome himself, Sirius Black.
