Luisa had loved the magical creatures and she loved to study them. However, there was one animal, or creatuer in which she knew little about. So, she walked into the library, focused on finding out about this suspcious creature that was not very farmiliar to the magical world, but it was known. It was seemingly rare, in fact.
Walked to a table near the section of books that dealed with things like magical creatures, Luisa threw her things into a chair and scanned the shelves. She pulled various books from them, reading their titled and them putting a few back. Within moments, her arms were weighed down with books about multiple creatures; she was not sure if they were what she was looking for.
She threw the books onto the table with a loud BAM, making the library echo somewhat. She eyed the librarian, who gave her an evil look but continued to work. She flipped opened the books to each index and then slammed them shut, tossing them aside. But then, when she got to the last book, old tattered and torn, she flipped it opened and read down through the 'G' and then the 'H' section. This book had what she was looking for Golems and Homunculus. She flipped it to the pages. They read:
Golems
The most famous golem was created by a European Jew in order to protect his ghetto from a rampaging mob. Using Cabalistic magic he imbued a clay statue with life and a rudimentary intelligence. The creature served both as his people's champion and as a servant. Subsequently (and probably before) numerous individuals trained in occult arts have animated statues. Essentially these creatures are simply primitive robots created through magic rather than technology. You may encounter them in the laboratories of an evil scientist with an interest in the supernatural or protecting (un)holy places or wizards' lairs. While they can be dealt with through conventional means this is not easy. The beasts are usually composed of some strong substance - clay or stone for example (and made still firmer by their enchantments) and are able to continue functioning until utterly destroyed. While such wholesale destruction is certainly an option, it isn't the most elegant. Since the things really aren't very bright it is comparatively easy to trap and incapacitate them if you can lure them away from their master. This is made still easier by their great bulk. A deep pit is usually more than sufficient to put one out of action rapidly. Also, almost all are animated by magical words and symbols inscribed or painted onto their bodies. While it is easier said than done, the removal of some or all of these symbols will turn the golem back into a statue.
Homunculus
These creatures are a unique creation made from the very essence of their creator. By a jealously guarded process that involves a whole mess of the creator's bodily fluids a miniature man is created. This being is usually somewhat malformed and may be mistaken for a small demons as they often sport vestigial wings or horns. It possesses a childlike intelligence and is fiercely loyal to its creator. However, for the amount of labor (and blood) that goes into one of these things we can't really see the point. They are about as dangerous as a small human child and only slightly more helpful in the lab. As an individual entity you don't really need to fear it although you should take it as a warning that a competent (if inefficient) evil scientist is nearby. There may also be some weak psychic link between the Homunculus and its master so they can spy on you if you take it into your presence. Just kill it, it will almost certainly give your rival a splitting headache.

Luisa looked at the pictures of the creatures and shook her head, reading the captions and the information about them. They had not been well researched, which she disapproved of, but she still knew a litte about them. She was not actually hoping to look up more on them, though they disgusted her and made her feel sickly.
