Name - Luna Lovegood
Age - Fourteen
Blood - Muggleborn
Birthday - December 14
House - Ravenclaw
Personality - Luna is funloving and a bit wacko, but she has a good heart and a determined personality to follow all that is good. She is a proud girl, but knows when to keep her mouth shut, and is a loyal and good friend. Luna has a way of entrancing some guys, but only because of her weirdness and not on purpose. Harry and Ron have both fallen for it at some point. Luna is good friends with Ginny Weasley.
Personal History - Luna's mother died when she was a little girl, only three, but her father is alive and well, the publisher of a magazine that seems to make up a lot of its stories. He gets a fair amount of money for the thing, though, and Luna has lived a fairly comfortable life. She grew up in a small house near the ocean and did not associate with magic too much. Her personality was not greatly affected with the death of Luna's mother, but she did become a bit more dreamy, though she's always been that way. Luna has always had a clear definition between good and evil and chose her side immediately, going along with the belief that good would bring her to see her mother again. When joining the group of friends she now has from Gryffindor, Luna felt a new beginning for her, though she stayed calm and cool, as always. She disapproves slightly of some of Harry's choices, especially the rash ones regarding Sirius and spur-of-the-moment schemes, but otherwise she's all for the trio and is somewhat influenced by the good they seem to carry, as Harry is mostly the 'good guy' of everything.
Appearance - Luna Lovegood is crazy, but she's pretty, too. Her blonde hair, tangled usually, comes down a little past her elbows in a simple hang, and her eyes are crystal clear blue. Luna's skin is light, but not too pale and notably healthy. She is 5'4 and never wears high heels, so that doesn't change much, and she is pretty skinny.

Hobbies - Luna likes writing, and reading her father's magazine, which is filled with 'interesting' ideas about magical creatures and ministry jokes. Luna also enjoys making/sewing clothes and fancy hats.
Likes - her father's magazine, Ron, her friends
Dislikes - Voldemort, death eaters, people who hate her, people who hurt her friends
Role play Sample - [sorry, as I said before I'm tired, so I'm too lazy to write a new one...this is from another site, my site, so it's a little confusing, I suppose...]
Sophie walked through the Northern grounds, a horse now, a beautiful black. As a horse, she was quick and strong...not that she wasn't as a human, or anything else. Sophie dropped her head, snorting lightly, the putrid smell of smoke and the black pollution burning her eyes. She let the tears fall lightly...it was only from the smoke, it held no emotion. But the salty drops quickly halted as a figure in the distance moved. Sophie's heart stopped...she had not expected anyone to be out here. It was cold and the rain looked like it might begin to fall soon, and it wasn't a good idea to be hanging around on a plain in a thunderstorm.
Sophie strained her horse eyes forward, trying to descipher who the figure might be. It was a small physique, and had a lot of hair. It was definitely a girl...suddenly, Sophie knew who it was. Saffron. She thought the name with a slight bit of disgust...Saffron wasn't very nice. She carried a dagger around in her sock and attacked people who approached her with a friendly hello. Sophie heard this from Charles one time, she could not remember when...perhaps in his mind as a wolf. Now, as a horse, Saffron's cosmic vibrations fell into place onto her, and Sophie felt the sadness and grief. She felt the confusion and the huge amount of emotions the girl was trying to hide. Felt the fire in Saff that was trying to fight the world. It seems that she's determined to stay tearless, to make everyone think she's made of steel, Sophie figured, flicking her ears back and forth. She backed away from Saffron, slowly, trying to hide that she was there. She made not a sound, her hooves clicking gently on the soft sod.
She backed up even further, head whirling, mind gears working furiously, trying to get away from Saffron. Her emotions were strong, and Sophie could feel them as if they were her own. She changed back into a human, breathing hard, and turned on her heel, tripping over some roots. She fell, tearing her knee open, and jumped back up, running, running...into the distance. The first raindrop fell, on Sophie's face, and then the rest poured down, soaking her hair and clothes and the rest of her. She breathed hard, not slowing down at all, just trying to get away. Thunder boomed and lightning flashed...kept on going. Go, go...go.
